On mt moon 1, if its your first time trying it, putting a pokemon with a status-altering move like Thunder Wave on the middle, or changing your pokemon's side will help a lot ^^

Get Ivysaur. None of the other starters are acceptable (at least at Level 25). Razor Leaf pwns every enemy once you get it, but you can use it to catch Pokemon because it might have a tiny sliver of health before the last leaf hits. Oh, and if you REALLY want a Nidoran Male, play Red. I have yet to find a SINGLE N-male in Blue. And you want to have at least 2 incredibly powerful Pokemon by Mt. Moon 1, because one on each path can help a lot, and if they're both at the start of Mt. Moon 2, any Pokemon with Assurance near the end should be awesome since if any Pokemon managed to make it past, they're dead. ...Is there a character limit?

@wwcheez: yes, there is a character limit It's 60000... So that would take quite a long post for you to fill that all

wwcheezburger obviously you didn't read lanstarofwind's post just like most of the people who have put their input on this thread. lanstarofwind is trying to get through the game without repeating/losing a level or quiting halfway. So OBVIOUSLY a lvl 25 Ivysaur is IMPOSSIBLE to get. Nidoran Male is easier to get in blue than a pikachu so ... you are pathetic if you can't find one because you are looking in the wrong place. And for advice you gave "have at least 2 incredibly powerful Pokemon by Mt. Moon 1" .... congratulations for figuring out the massive secret to this game, if you have two powerful pokemon you can beat Mt. Moon ...WOW. (i would swear here instead of saying WOW but that isn't allowed on the forums) Also the only Pokemon that can learn assurance so far only learning it at level 25, which is self explanatory as to why it is stupid advice. Also Ivysaur sucks, but try getting a Ivysaur without losing or repeating level. Bad advice much Also i have already said this on page 1 but IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO!!!!!
