So, how about admins of forum put really good suggestions in one post in Suggestion board which will always be on top(like forum rules are), and it will be easier for Sam to get all great ideas, without spaming him with 50 e-mails a week. So this topic could only be modified and be posted in by administrators, and there would be best idea in top(fully described), and links to 4-5 other really good ideas. This way players can find really good ideas(or speculations) easly.

I like the idea (in general). It would help Sam have a quick link for suggestions. Who would decide which suggestions are the best?

@fich: Great idea Full support @p0kd: I think that the admins can interpret the public opinion quite well However... some are kinda... inactive

not to insult the admins work, but besides the upgrade to the site, & putting the game what else has been done to actually add any of the ideas to the site?

The important thing to remember is the admins have lives too. If there was an automated way to update the top suggestions list, that would be great. But a slowly updated list is better than no list.

I agree with p0kdxfi113r, admins have their lives too. But it's not like it would have to be updated 25 times a day... Let's face it, good suggestions come 2-3 times a week(5 tops), and i think even 1 admin can handle that, and if not, they can asign some member of forum that is willing to help to do that. Also, don't forget all ideas have to go trough Sam first, so if he thinks something won't work out good, he will just not use it. Also, every week Sam can send to admin(s) which suggestions he accepted and witch one he rejected or he doesn't plan to introduce them any time soon. Also, there could be list of all suggestions that were "Accepted", "Rejected" and "Pending". Ofc, this list doesn't have to be detailed, just short sentance that describes suggestions in few words.

Also, if you have problems with inactive admins, you can "hire" normal forum members as MODs. They will be like admins, with some restrictions, but would help running the forum. They could also be assigned to answer all the questions people ask. Those people would be ones that are online the most, ofc if they want to.

Fichom, those are good ideas. We would need Sam's approval first (since he isn't technically tied to the forum). He might prefer all suggestion go through his blog for others to see. But that all goes without saying.
Muzik, it seems like you need some help here, haha. Anything we can do?

Well, this is how i think about it:
Now: Sams gets around 15 e-mails about suggestions we see in forum(and probably 15 more that noone suggested in forum first) in 1 week. In 2 weeks, sams reads about 5-10 e-mails, of which 3 he likes, and of those 3, 2 ideas are imposible to do. In conclusion, Sam gets 1 idea per 2 weeks, and there is around 40% chance it will be rejected.
By new system: Sam would get 2-5 good ideas. As admins would chose ideas, they will probably all be possible to make, so all there is left to do is see if people like it. Now what Sam will do is just make a poll for each of this idea in his blog and see if people like this idea or not.
This way we will make it mutch more easier for Sam and our ideas will get more easly accepted(altough quality of idas won't be lowered). And once agen remind admin(s), im sure that there are 2-3 members of forum that are online 30-1 hour a day, which is enough for my idea, who are ready to help.

We (I) work on a lot of the requests people make in order to make the site better however we (I) frequent the suggestion areas a lot, but there are some flaws to the way people want things to get done. For example: We (I) don't think EVERY suggestion should be used. It just wouldn't be realistic. Not to mention once you apply something you a barrage of people asking to have it removed. We (I) can't control what proboards does and doesn't allow us to adjust. Many requests for improvements simply cannot be done. We (I) ( ) am only one person and can't organize every thought someone has about the forum into a comprehensible improvement. I like to also thank mmaester for recognizing that there are too many inactive admin and p0kdxfi113r for recognizing that we do in fact have lives that include work, school, family, and as of recent jury duty. you are definitely right the system is flawed, and Its completely understandable that one person cannot do it by themselves. Some thanks are definitely in order for you Muzik.

fichom, I'm not arguing that the idea is bad. I definitely think it will help Sam out. I'm just saying, before we make all the plans, we should get Sam's OK first.

well, i haven't noticed my suggestion was implanted, and i really do think it will help, and sooner you make "Promoted Suggestions" section, the faster we can get ideas worked out and proceeded to sam, and letting him know what we want faster and easier...
