And the ORIGINAL motto was "Gotta Catch 'Em All" not "Gotta Raise The Strongest And Evolve All Pokemon"

i just wanted to show that our game rival actually IS gary, as he has his pokemon from anime and manga nothing else i already argued against ur argument via edit haha ninja xD u just kicked urself ;D i told u that gotta catch em all was the actual motto and gary was WAY better at doing this, having 200 pokemon from gen1 and 2, ash had...uf...approximately 30 or something?

I said ORIGINAL motto, the motto is outdated
ASH AND GARY ONLY APPEAR IN THE ANIME!!!!
Not in the game and not in the manga (Red and Blue arent Ash and Gary)
So I have a Arcanine and Alakazam in Pokemon so now Im Gary??? That doesnt make sense!!!!!!

The motto is outdated and you used it in the wrong way, you think its about having strong pokemon Now its about being the best trainer by caring for your pokemon and having a good strategy
that our game rival actually IS gary, as he has his pokemon from anime and manga
Having a few of the same pokemon doesnt make you the same person
They are similar, but not the same person
Your arguments are countered a long time ago

it still isnt about strategy but about having strong pokemon omg xD catching them all might be hard with 6xx catchable pokemon (or not catchable, dont know if everything is obtainable in black and white, stopped playing after sapphire) but it still is about training them so they beat everything and not about having a bond and such grab some glasses mate and then look how our rival looks...behaves...which pokemon he uses...and then stop arguing about that ;D

Yea, after gen 2 they took away the motto because it was silly just like gary was for have 200 pokemon including repeats. Like seriously, how impractical is that. 200 pokemon to take care of, and he probably doesn't use any of them. How much would it cost to feed them. Not very smart of Gary (therefore not very good Trainer material there).
If you did compare Charizard from the anime to the game, he went from level 16 to 36 in 2 episodes. So in the next 50 i bet Charizard overpowered Blastoise.
Also it seems like you are implying that flame attacks or gust attack shouldn't cause bruises or cuts which is absurd, as fire burns skin and gust would cause lots of little cuts from the tiny stones and debris.
And again Blastoise was beaten in one hit because Blastoise is HUGE so seismic toss was SO much more powerful as it is using its own weight against it. If Blastoise fell from the sky and didn't KO itself i would be bloody suprised. So while being Pushed down by Charizard so going MUCH faster then it would DEFIANTLY mean auto KO
Also Gary is Based off Blue. Same with Ash being Based off Red. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME, so they can't be compared.

...xD at that time it was about catching them all or as many as possible and gary did that, makin him the best trainer ;D of course he didnt use all of them, neither did i in the games or would have done in his place i had my 6-10 strong ones and that was enough ^^ he didnt have to feed them as oak did that, just as he did for ashs pokemon that fast evolution of charmander to charizard was another thing that bothered me...i thought there arent levels in the anime, but brock stated that a pokemon seems like its high leveled multiple times... i dont see any burning marks on the skin after a fire attack but bruises and that isnt realistic either pokemon isnt realistic concerning injuries anyways in the anime... charizard shouldnt have been able to go that far...once again: very effective hydro pump, point blank, we never saw how he got away from that, as charizard just stood somewhere else from one moment to the other...skull bash, point blank...then a bite in the arm/shoulder and charizard is still able to hold the heavyweight blastoise, not coughing or showing any other signs of being exhausted? and u werent bloody surprised bout that? plus, my arguments are based on the games, the anime, a little bit on the manga and on logic

LOL, link you have to realize that the show is for kids. They are not going to show actually burn marks. They show scratches instead. Though it really is bruising, cuts, or in the case of a fire. a burn. Not showing any marks is not unrealism, but rather making it more child watchable. However i was saying that Charizard was not damaged physically through "scratches" because it didn't hurt him though scratches but more fatigued him. Also to stop you squabble about the motto, The motto "Gotta catch them all" was a ploy so people would want the game and once they have the game, they would have to get the other version. This was nothing to do with the anime, this is also shown on the episode where you find out Gary had 200 pokemon as Professor Oak commended ash for seeing further than just collecting the pokemon but rather becoming friends with them. So this lead to the change in motto as, marketing wise pokemon was already we know and the motto had already sunk in to everyones mind (obviously yours link ) and because the anime contradicted the motto. Also a hydro pump can't last forever, link. It would have ended. Also Charizard is a powerful pokemon, which is why it can learn fighting moves. So Charizard being able to handle a bite attack is not surprising at all as bite is very weak. But with the skull bash i am more suprised that the attack hit than it not causing any damage since it is a REALLY slow attack and Charizard is MUCH faster than Blastoise. Also about the whole feeding thing was just a joke but 200 pokemon still need to be feed by grandad, But since Gary is now a professor, SINCE HE QUIT BEING A TRAINER, he would have to take care of his pokemon himself. 200 pokemon is A LOT of pokemon.

of course the show is made for 10 year olds and u cant show everything...but that hasnt got anything to do with the topic anyways ^^ for me it always was and always will be about catching them all ;D and oak has no clue xD he gives away rare pokemon for free, that old gramps it cant last forever but it can last long - and charizard still would have to dodge it, not just appear somewhere else xD and bite is weak in the games, but if blastoise bites him in the arm he shouldnt be able to carry something heavy anymore... and the skull bash hit because it was point blank rage, so charizard wasnt able to dodge anymore yeah, 200 pokemon is a lot and gary needed lotsa skill to catch them all so he is a great trainer and since im tired of this (i still think im right ^^) imma quit this discussion with a word of wisdom from our mewgia creator "well.... gary has 10 badges in a place where there are just 8.... so i guess he wins" ;D have fun arguing and claiming u won, but we all know u didnt - im out

-.- you can't just leave OMG MY GOD I just watched the battle between Blastoise and Charizard again for like the first time is AGES and it was OBVIOUS the ash was the better Trainer. Gary was just using his type advantage over Ash. However Ash used skill to beat Blastoise. Link you must be CRAZY if you think that Gary had more skill than Ash as a trainer in that battle. Also Gary may have earned ten badges, but he still couldn't get the earth badge ... which ASH GOT XD

1. Catching 200 pokemon isnt hard, it depends on the species of pokemon(most fully evolved pokemon dont show up in nature) and the 200 pokemon can be multiple of the same species(catching a caterpie is hard, yea right ) 2. at that time it was about catching them all or as many as possible and gary did that, makin him the best trainer You need to get out of the past and get in the present Link, grab some glasses, new eyes or something you need and READ THIS Its about the anime not the game and manga ASH AND GARY ONLY APPEAR IN THE ANIME!!!!
