it is too late right now, so i'll update it tomorrow evening. I noticed, many pokemon's levels have changed in different places, so I would appreciate if someone helps me with this. I noticed lv 2-5 Rattatas in Oak's Lab, instead of 4 only; lv 2 Pokemon appeared in Route 1; noticed lv 3 Pikachu in Viridian Forest; and finaly these are the pokemon for Viridian Forest 2: Kakuna (lv 7-9), Beedrill (lv 13-15), Metapod (lv 7-9), Butterfree (lv 13-15), Paras (lv 6), Pikachu (11-12) If you find some other levels, especially Paras and Pikachu, please tell me by tomorrow. It is rather hard to catch lots of them.. also i'll change those 2 squares in Routes 1 and 2 and some texts, including Pewter Gym's one about the starter. any other changes, you have noticed, are appreceated:)

The first level is Oak's Lab. Before the level you get to choose one of 3 save slots, your name, your starter Pokemon (Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle) and game version, you want to play (Red or Blue). After that you get with your starter to your first level and fight Rattatas for Rare Candies:) You might also need to catch some Rattatas to help you:) Pokemon: Rattata (lv 2-5) Warning: Don't get lv 5 Rattata from this level. They don't have Quick Attack at start for some reason, and will never learn it. You get $2 for each kill 5 waves: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Rattatas There are 10 Candies, so defeat at least 6 Rattatas to win:) Level is ~ 40 second, so you get $30, i.e. $0,75 per second Previous version (1.9)Changelog: Rattata can be caught at different levels now, though it's a bit buggy:)

After Garry helps you to fight those Rattatas, he moves away from Pallet town and you follow him to the first Route. Then you see a cutscene, where Joey is being hypnotized by Team Rocket's Hypno and Drowzee, in order to get some Rare Candies. You try to stop him. Here is the map: Pokemon: Pidgey(lv 2-5), Ratata (lv 2-3) You get $2 for each kill 6 waves: 1) - 2) 2 Pokemon 3-4) 3 Pokemon 5) 5 Pokemon ?) groups of extra 5 Pokemon if you are not fast enough to kill previous on time. BOSS will come only when all the enemies are defeated. 6) BOSS Pidgey There are only 5 Rare Candies this time. Be careful. Level is ~50 seconds, so you get $28, or $0.5 per second Previous version (1.9)Changelog: lv 2 Pokemon are now avaliable. Also one map square was moved a little, to be of more use.

After finishing Route 2 you release Joey from hypnozis, and you both go to Verdilian. Everything is closed there and some guy tells you, he've seen Team Rocket, so you run to Route 2 to chase them. At Route 2 Joey caches a Rattata and then notices some wild pokemon running for Candies. You help him to save the Candies yet again:) Pokemon: Pidgey (lv 3-5) Rattata (lv 3-5) Caterpie (lv 4-5 Blue only) Weedle (lv 4-5 Red only) You get $2 for each kill 4 waves: 1-3) 6 Pokemon 4) 10 Rattata and BOSS Rattata There are 7 candies, so defeat at least 23 Pokemon Level is ~55 seconds, so you get $58, or $1 per second. Previous version (1.9)Changelog: One map square was moved a little, to be of more use.

After finishing Route 2 You move to Viridian Forest. They say, you can catch a Pikachu there! But Joey is out of luck. Than a Bug Catcher suggests him a Pokemon Battle, but a Beedrill frightens him off, and takws away Joey. You will have to beat a new portion of Pokemon on your own. Pokemon: Caterpie(lv 3-5 rare in Red), Metapod (lv 4-6 rare in Red), Weedle(lv 3-5 rare in Blue), Kakuna (lv 4-6 rare in Blue), Pikachu (lv 5 very rare) You get $2 for Caterpie and Weedle or $5 for Metapod, Kakuna and Pikachu 10 waves: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9) 6 Pokemon from the right 2, 4, 6, 8) 6 Pokemon from the left 10) 10 Pokemon from both sides (5 from each) and 3 BOSS Pikachu(2 from the left and one from the right) There are only 3 candies this time, so you will have to fight very good for them. Level is ~150 seconds, so you get ~$220 (143-335), or ~$1,5 per second Pokemon, except BOSS Pikachu, walk up to candy point and then turn back and walk to the start point. They don't walk from one entrance to another. You can let a couple of pokemon move those candies a little bit to one side and concentrate on that side Entrance, ignoring the other one, if you are not strong enough to guard both entrances. That won't help against the BOSS. Previous version (1.9)Changelog: Noticed a lv 3 Pikachu suddenly. No other changes so far.

At least you come to Pewter City and go to sleep. Suddenly a Mewtwo appears and teleports you to Pewter Gym, where you find those two Team Rocket Grunts, who hypnotized Joey before and caught him this time. also you see Joey and Camper Luigi. And ofcourse you see Gym Leader — Brock. Grunts think, he is their Boss for some reason. Because of Teleportation their Pokeballs are all around the Gym. But Brock and Luigi has their own to send on you. Pokemon: Geodude, Sandshrew, Onix. All Pokemon are BOSS, i.e. you can't catch them and they return after walking away with pokeball, you will have to kill them all. You get $5 for Geodude and Sandshrew or $10 for Onix 10 Waves: 1)- 2, 4, 6, 8) 2 Geodudes and Sandshrew going to the left 3, 5, 7, 9) 2 Geodudes and Sandshrew going to the right 10) 2 Onix going to both sides There are 3 pokeballs at each side. You can focus on one side only, if you lack power, and finish off the other side later Level is ~125 seconds, so you get $140 or $1,1 per second After finishing wave 9 you will be given around 10 seconds to remove all your pokemon. Any left pokemon will be removed to storage, due to Rock Fall. After that Onixes arrive and you have to put your Pokemon back to fight quickly. Previous version (1.9)Changelog: You don't lose a Pokemon at the beginning of the level any more! Also there are more pokemon now.

After defeating Brock's Pokemon he gives you your first badge and tries to fight back Team Rocket, who is angry about this. Joey tries to help and releases his new Beedrill, but it does not listen to him and Team Rocket manages to escape. They seem've kidnapped Brock's family, so he tries to chase them and you also go the same way to Route 3, where you could catch/level some Pokemon. Pokemon: Spearow (lv 6-8), Pidgey-like Spearow (lv 6-7), Jigglypuff (lv 4-7 rare), Mankey (lv 7 rare), Nidoran F (lv 6-7 very rare in Red) Nidoran M (lv 6-7 very rare in Blue) Warning: some Spearows here know Tackle and Sand Attack instead of their normal attacks. Mankey in this area don't know Covet. They know Focus Energy, Scratch, Leer and Low Kick. You get $1 for each kill 30 Waves of 5 Pokemon There is nothing to defend. Use this route to catch/level Pokemon Level is ~185 seconds, so you get $150 or $0,8 per second. It seems not so low, but you get tons of experience here, so you spend everything very fast. This route is good for leveling pokemon, but you should choose something else to farm $, for example Viridian Forest. Previous version (1.9)Changelog: You get some small $ for killing here. It's not that helpful, though. There are more pokemon now (and it's ~20 seconds longer)

Joey is going back to Viridian Forest to catch a Pikachu. You are going to fight some Pokemon while he takes his time. Pokemon: Kakuna (lv 7-9 rare in Blue), Beedrill (lv 13-15 rare in Blue), Metapod (lv 7-9 rare in Red), Butterfree (lv 13-15 rare in Red), Paras (lv 5-6 extremely rare), Pikachu (lv 11-12 extremely rare). There may be other levels for Paras and Pikachu, I can't catch enough... Warning: Metapod in this area don't know Sting Shot. Butterfree in this area don't know Tackle and String Shot. They also don't know Sleep Powder and won't learn it, if they are at least lv 14 already. They know Harden, Stun Spore, Poison Powder and Confusion. Beedrill in this area don't know Poison Shot. They remember Harden, Fury Attack, String Shot and Focus Energy. You get $1 for each kill 30 Waves: Even) 5 same Pokemon on the left Odd) 5 same Pokemon on the right There is nothing to defend. Level is ~135 seconds and you can potentially get $150 or $1,1 per second. But you should have a very strong party to kill every pokemon in this level. That means, you don't usually get much money or experience from here. But you can get Paras and Pikachu:) and some lv 15 Bugs, if you are to lazy to train them:)

Hey mawile I saw a Lv. 6 Pikachu in Viridian Forest 2 FYI while reading this forum, I found someone mention a decompiler, so i used one:) It opens lots of info about the levels and the pokemon. I will post it when i think of a good way to show it. But i could say, it is absolutely impossible to get a lv 6 Pikachu in Viridian Forest 2. Pikachu is lv 10-12 and Paras is 5-7. At least, that's for v2.10, haven't checked the others. By the way, a chance of catching a shiny Pikachu is ridiculously small... chance of a Pikachu is 1%, and of that percent its 0,01% to get a shiny. i.e. there is one shiny Pikachu in 100000 Pokemon. Here goes some maths. You get 5 Pikachu in about 3,3 games. or one shiny Pikachu in about 6667 games. One run of Viridian Forset 2 is ~135 seconds, so the approximation is, you get one shiny Pikachu in 250 hours of nonstop playing in this level. Try to count the chance of axidentally killing it as your homework:) You could also cath a shiny Pikachu in Viridian Forest(1). The chance of Pikachu is also 1%, and there are 64 non-BOSS Pokemon, so you get a Pikachu aproximately twice per three games, or you get a shiny Pikachu once per 15625 games. the level is ~150 seconds, so a shiny Pikachu is once per 650 hours of nonstop playing in Viridian Forest(1) If you find a shiny, you are extremely lucky:) I'm not shiny hunting for sure...
