By referencing the chart below, compare the type of your move against the enemy pokemon's type. If it comes up with a "+", you deal double damage! If you come up with a "–" however, you only deal half as much damage. In the worst case scenario, some types, like flying & ghost, are completely immune to one or more kinds of attacks, represented by an "X". As you can see, type plays an important role in the world of pokemon!
