I thought we were using PTD moves. But like I said, doesn't matter. Charmander can OHKO.

What do you mean? Charmander use flamethrower/fire blast, Bulbasaur faints in one-hit.

Technically, I would say that Venusaur has better base stats than Charizard. Furthermore, with the correct EV training, types don't always play a huge role. On that note, I hope to god sam doesn't add in EVs and IVs to PTD.

Charizard actually has better base stats. 534 to 525.
And no simulation that I know of.

Bulbasaur is the easiest of the starters, because he's very effective during the start and onwards. Squirtle comes second, because he's very effective during the first gym, but less during the second and third. Hardest starter is Charmander, because you don't have many pokemon before the first and second gym that are good vs rock/water types.
Charmander imho is the strongest of em all endgame tho, he has extreme firemoves, flying abilities, and some extras. Bulbasaur and evolutions are very weak vs the Elite 4. Weak vs psychic, ice, dragon... (and for rock i'd rather use water)

You know that if you only use Charmander, you can get it to level 50 before the 4th gym. Charmander only needs to use ember for the first gym, easy win. Then for the second gym, if you beat all the trainers in the area until slash is learnt then the second gym can be won by pure strength. Then every other gym is a piece of cake.
