Hello there friends and foes. I am Vince Ketchum. I will be helping you with your battle in Cerulean Gym 2. Here we go!
Red 1) Pokemon and Moves needed
Pokemon: Bulbasaur or Ivysaur and Arbok (I prefer the Ivysaur) -Must know Growth, Razor Leaf, and Screech
2) Gameplay Place your **** in the first box starting off with the move Growth. Place Arbok in the next box starting with the move Screech. As soon as ****'s Growth kicks in, click in him and make him use Razor Leaf. Because of Kyorge's defense being down and your **** attack power being up, you'll win this battle in less than a minute!
Blue 1) Pokemon and Moves needed Pokemon: Victreebel and Pikachu or Raichu -Must know Leaf Tornado, Growth, Thunderwave and Electro Ball
2) Gameplay Put your **** first and make it start off with Thunderwave. Put Victreebel in the next box and make it start off Growth. When Kyorge is paralyzed, switch ****'s attack to Electro Ball. Make sure you alternate attacks to keep Kyogre slow and the attack power of Electro Ball up. When Vitreebel's Growth kicks in, make it use Leaf Tornado. Continue to alternate between attacks to keep your pokemon's attack power up. Keep this up and you'll win for sure!
If you need any help just post below and if you need a Ivysaur pm me and I might send you one
Due to the bad view in the polls, I deem this to be unsuitable for people...

All you need is a Raichu/Pikachu with thunderbolt and a golem with Rock Blast. Both lv 29, and beat it with Kyogre getting only 1 candy.

Has anyone managed to beat it without losing a single rare candy?

I beat it without it getting to any of the candies. I used arbok using screech and glare then switched him out for mew using psychic. On the bottom i had a venusaur using growth and then petal dance.

Has anyone managed to beat it without losing a single rare candy? You can beat it without kyogre touching a rare candy. Use 2 golems both using bulldoze at the start. Then when it seems kyogre stopped moving switch one of them to rock blast and it should be dead before it even grabs a candy.

First of all, this was not created for people who play the game daily, or for those who have all their pokemon at level 36 *cough* hackers *cough*. I made this for all of the people who don't play the game alot. Also, if you don't like it, leave the page; press back and look at something else. Sheesh...
