I think it is because Bulbasaur is good at first but sucks later in the game. Squirtle is good throughout the game but isn't anything great. Then Charmander is harder at first but gets insanely powerful afterwards.

Then Charmander is harder at first but gets insanely powerful afterwards. great explanation in my opinion ^^ squirtle is always good (bubble, water gun, bite, water pulse, aqua tail, skull bash...) charmander has major disadvantages in the beginning but rules later on (ember, dragon rage, fire fang) bulbasaur pretty much sucks until he gets takedown and razor leaf (leech seed, vine whip, various powders, sweet scent) and becomes good with petaldance

In PTD though, I'd say that charmander is the best early in the game. And also, if there's going to be a level 100 in the future, don't you guys think that we should have some levels for mass exp? It already takes forever to get to 36 >_<

It already takes forever to get to 36 >_< yeah in PTD charmander is a beast from the beginning, but bulbasaur for example isnt ;D and concerning evolution levels sam follows the real game anyways ^^ and im sure there are gonna be GREAT levels later on for getting on higher levels...but for now mt moon 2 is enough in my opinion

its not wrong, charizard and blastoise evolve at 36, venasaur at 32
Pkm games were always made sayying that the Grass pokemon is easy, Water normal and Fire hard
venasaur evolves and levels up faster, blastoise normal, and charizard takes the most time to evolve

its not wrong, charizard and blastoise evolve at 36, venasaur at 32 Pkm games were always made sayying that the Grass pokemon is easy, Water normal and Fire hard venasaur evolves and levels up faster, blastoise normal, and charizard takes the most time to evolve Actually, on Unova, grass is hard, and fire and water are easier.
