Since this thread hasn't been made I figured I would start it. VF (Viridian Forest) is the best place to make money, however I thought that I would add a few facts to make it much easier to see how effective it is. As you know each run gives you around 230. So, to get one thousand you divide 1000 by 230 = 4.34, so it takes just over 4 VFs to get you one thousand. But also it is important to note the time it takes to get one thousand. An average run normal take around 2:30. So as you can see, it takes just under 10 mins to make 1000. It works.

Nice next you should try and do one for all the levels ;D Its for farming levels only. I will update it when better levels come out. (Better levels being levels where you gain more money then others) But thanks for the suggestion

Hey i made ana ccount just for this >.< for me killing brock is good cash. All i did was have my wartortle using watergun and a mankey for safety using his fighting moves. Each pokemon gives 5 gold each which is 15 per round being 3 easy to kill pokemon and 10 rounds so all in all 150 gold per gym. Easy aswell

Muzik Iz Xtacy has got a point there, Viridian Forrest is the best way to go. Fighting Brock is the second way to go if you get bored doing the same level over and over again.

@muzik Haha yeh i saw his other post showing the average gain/s and realised this myself just stopping off to say nine im relying on you for a rough guestimate at how much money you make with different setups on viridian forest 2 hopuflly with some of these new pokemon/evolutions the level will be 100% completeable

Hi, could you tell me what team of pokemon you use for the Viridian Forest 2 run? and what positions you set them up in? I barely get over 100 each round. All my pokemon are at the level cap if that matters

All my pokemon are at the level cap if that matters Viridian Forest 2 is one of the levels (along with Route 3) in which the payout is less per Pokemon taken out due to their being no Rare Candies (thus making the level impossible to 'lose'). These levels tend not to be good for getting money for that reason, since they're designed for raising experience. (Basically everyone has the problem you're having. ;D)

I was just asking for the most efficient layout.

Once the update comes out VF 2 will be the place to make money as Sam stated Beedrills will give $20 per kill, which if you can kill the set of 5 Beedrills is $100 and Im guessing VF 2 will probably be averaging about 1k per level. This is assuming you kill only on one side, maybe if you try and kill on both sides it might be even better.

I mixed this up with the VF2 farming thread with the spearows/fearows Thanks for correcting me! I made a lot of money from VF1 so far~
