i've noticed that the new topics board is spammed with trades.thats all good and fine, but is there a way so that we have a new topics board and a trading new topics board? cuz i personally don't know where any of the threads i liked to frequent were located in.

I've suggested this before for RP...haha. No one has expressed an ability to do this yet.

Yeah, I do miss some old threads that I can't find anymore Is there possibly a way to make a seperate "new thread" option for each category?

Well, each board is automatically ranked by most recent posts. So to see the "new threads" for each board, you just have to click on each board

I agree. It almost filled up in a hour. But I don't know any code so I can't try to fix it.

how about a search bar that will let u search up the threads u want? and a summary in peoples own profiles that can show them every thread theyve been to so they can just click on it and go there, i think the second idea is already done, and for the trade br how about u sort them into pokemons, like if someone is looking for shiny abras, the click thsi header shiy mew this header, and if someone wants to see wut they can get for a shinny butterfree then click this header, all u have to do is make everybody that posts a new thread to submit which pokemons they r looking for and which pokemon they are willing to trade it for

I like those ideas. The summary in profiles is already there, though. You can search through their most recent posts.

Your second idea I'm pretty sure that's impossible or nearly impossible for most forms. You can see which topics they replied to though. Third idea...I don't really get. Do you mean an idea similar to the one I had in a different suggestion thread? ( poketd.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=siteideas&action=display&thread=1876 )

I used to run two large forums on the InvisionFree webhosting service (one was an RP forum and the other just a general one)... did my own coding, designs, photoshop, etc.
I don't know how ProBoards works (proboards is the service that is hosting these forums), but I can tell you that using some creative coding on InvisionFree I was able to do something similar to what you suggested chaihai. What I did was code the "New Topics" board to omit all new topics from the General Forum on teh RP site and only show threads from the IC RP forums so that users could find active RP's and get involved.
I'm not sure if something like that is viable here, or if the admins have the coding experience to do that. I also don't know what kind of code ProBoards uses... I would imagine it's C++ or CSS, but I know a couple of other codes are becoming more popular.
Anyway... to answer the question, yes it is possible on InvisionFree... not sure on ProBoards... but it takes a bit of creative knowledge regarding coding and is thus difficult to do.
