Multiplayer Feature Idea This is my idea for multiplayer. Someone else made a multiplayer, im not sure how similar this is to it, but i included pictures. So in multiplayer, it would be you against some other person. You can either be in defensive or offensive mode. Your ScreenIn defensive mode (how you regularly play)when you start your screen would look regular to a normal fight... like this. Opponents ScreenThi is how your opponents screen (offensive mode) would look if you were playing defense. Opponents Screen(Alternate)This is a second way to do the offensive mode, you just drag and drop the pokemon into the box, the side the box is on is the side it will come from. Recharge Bar: once you send a pokemon out, it must recharge before it can be sent again. Send Button: Once the pokemon finishes recharging, you can send it again with the send button. Pokemon Limit: Max number of pokemon you can send out = Number of waves If there are 10 waves in the game, you can send out 10 of each pokemon Winning/Losing:If all your pokemon die, you lose(Obiously). but if you steal all the rare candies you win. and vice versa for defensive mode. Attacks: In offensive mode, changing attacks is normal, in defensive mode you can still change your pokemon's attacks. but only to defensive attacks like harden or anything like that. EXP: In defensive mode, exp is gained normally. In offensive mode you get exp by getting rare candies. Health Deduction: The offensive team would have a health deduction to make the game even. (Credit to deathnoterazor) What do you guys think?

I like the idea of it! Really the only thing I wouldn't like about it is the fact you would have to have 2 sets of pokemon. One for offense and defense. And the gap between the amount of defensive and offensive abilities.

I think the offensive pokemon should be 20% weaker so its actually possible to win.

compared to the offensive, the attacker would easily have an advantage, so their pokemon need to be weakened

I think it's a good idea, and also i think there should be a reward system for the winning player, such as 1. Keep exp. points while losing player does not 2. random item 3. Misc. any ideas?

@krono yea, i see what you mean now, the only thing to do to keep one set is to keep them balanced. ngu27Yea that would be a good idea too. maybe even money like the normal games.

In the case of multiplayer there should also be a friend option, so u can see when your friends are online to battle, which in that case u would need a full blown server with multiple rooms.
never give up, ngu

I am very curious as to what Sam is actually going to do with the multiplayer in PTD. This would is really the only option I can see. But than again i'm not very imaginative.
