Okay let’s say you want to show off your awesome Shiny Gyarados, but you don’t know how, well you came to the right thread. This is a more in-depth guide in how to get a screenshot. Method #11. Find the screen shot you want to post. Ex: My awesome shiny Gyarados. 2. Hold down the Crtl (Control) Button and find the Prt Scr button. It should be in the top row of button, near the F12, to be exact. 3. Go into Paint (or anything similar) and paste the image. Ex: The pasted image in Paint.net 4. Now, people usually don’t want to see the boring background, so you have to crop the image. Select the part you want to display and copy it. 5. Resize your canvas and then post your cropped image. Ex: The cropped image below. 6. Save you image and you’re done! Method #21. Select the Snipping Tool Program. 2. Press the New File button. 3. Select the Area you want to Crop. 4. Save the file. Method #3 (For Macs)1. Hold down Command, Shift, and 4. 2. Select the area you want to Crop. 3. Post it into Paint (or whatever Macs' use). 4. Save the file. Now, go to this thread if you want to learn how to post that image you just made

Request/Sticky
Finally, less people will ask how to make a screen-shot.

I personally never use the PrtSc button, I use the Snipping Tool instead. If you have a PC you can just find the Snipping Tool in the Windows search bar, select what you want on your screen, and save it. That way you can save time instead of cropping the image after you copy it. It's a lot easier and quicker for me.

Great But u Dont Need Press Ctrl xD Well on my computer you do have to hold down Crtl, but if on your computer you don't have to, then fine. Update: Two new methods added.

Mac users can do command+shift+3 to take a full screen shot and it will be put on your desktop. Or use command+shift+4 to get a cross hairs click and drag the section you want for your screen shot so you crop it as you take it sorry the second part is pretty confusing but i hope it makes sense
