Sam updates the game every weekend currently, but wont that eventually change? eventually, the level cap will have reached 100 and sam will have to completely code a pokemon, from its lowest level up to 100. this includes all its moves and evolutions. what do you think will happen when the game gets to the point the work load is too large to update weekly?

Well it wouldn't be that much more work then before, a lot of the moves would have already been coded in the game. In most levels there really isn't that many new pokemon, plus getting the level cap to level 100 means he doesn't have to ever raise it.

Also consider that it's almost Summer time, so the updates may be more fluid when it rolls around.

guys...there are 8 badges...we got 2...so u dont have to worry about getting to lv 100 yet xDD and when we get to lv 100 he wont have to code any (or only a few) new moves, thus being able to focus on adding all pokemon/new challenge levels/multiplayer
we can talk about that in a couple of months...

It's important to remember that the more Pokemon there are in the game, the more work it will be to raise the level cap. And the higher the level cap, the more work it will be to add more Pokemon. Add the design of more levels, more plot production, and whatever new feature he wants to add or build on for each update, and that's a lot of work for Sam. Personally I hope he starts taking longer breaks between updates soon, because he could use the rest. The man does hard work, and he does it well. He shouldn't be overworking himself to keep up his update times.

Yeah seeing as it is free for us I would say that people should not keep on at him to keep to the deadlines with obvious increases in workloads - not suggesting anyone here is, just saying...
