(I'm not sure if this is the right section, but...)
Hello guys!
I just noticed the pokédex isn't counting as "caught" the previous form of the pokémon that evolve after obtaining the dex.
Example: You got the shiny Charmander. (Pokédex gives you the yellow/golden ball at this pokémon's entry). But, when you evolve it into a shiny Charmeleon, the pokédex removes the yellow/golden ball from Charmander's entry and put it only at Charmeleon's.
So... in order to have a "full yellow ball" entry for Charmander's family pokédex, would you have to keep one shiny Charmander, one shiny Charmeleon and one shiny Charizard? Lol.
PS: The entries of pokémon that were caught before Pokédex/v2.8 are ok!
Thank you. =)

I think you have to keep all pokemon, but it is glitched when you have the final evolution all the pre-evos are checked as caught as well
