Here is my story idea. Please give feedback or suggestions. You may add characters and pokemon as long as they are equivalent to the story.

Rocket Grunt's Houndoom
As Sneasel went outside to play with his friends, he noticed it was warmer outside than usual. The thought of warmth reminded Sneasel of the abuse he had endured a while back from the trainer known as Andy. The mere thought of him made him shiver.
Sneasel's friends Smoochum, Glaceon, and Snorunt were all outside playing in the snow when they felt the ground rumble. In a heartbeat, Sneasel did as he was trained by Andy, and jumped back under the snow and hid. He peeked through the snow.
Looking out, he could see the outline of a human. Several humans. Maybe even one hundred. They had smashed through the roof of the cavern. The light shot down like the flame of a Charmander. Sneasel, staying hidden, saw all the people catching Pokemon all over. He saw his friends, neighbors, and others being captured. Then a big shock: His Mother.
The humans fled, all except the one who captured his mother. He had a familiar, evil grin on his face.
"Come out, you snotty little brat, or your mom is bye bye!" he said.
Sneasel became outraged and blew his hiding spot, slashing and biting and clawing at the human: Andy.
"Get off me! I have a Rendezvous soon with the Rocket Grunts!" he yelled, tossing Sneasel off of him. "You're too weak to quench my thirst for victory!"
Andy ran off, sending out a Pidgeot to fly him out of there. Sneasel chased after him, determined to get his mother out of the sphere shaped prison.
Andy looked back to see that Sneasel was close behind.
"Don't pay attention to him! We better hurry or the boss will kill us!" yelled Andy to his Pidgeot. It nodded and flew faster. Sneasel was keeping up, jumping and clawing, hitting at Pidgeot's wings and feet several times.
Sneasel eventually hit the ball pocket on Andy's backpack, knocking out two Pokeballs, one of them the same, blue Pokeball used for his mom.
Andy was too preoccupied to notice, so Sneasel jumped down after them. Sneasel reached out to catch his mom's spherical prison and to release her, but his fingertips knicked it, causing the Pokeball to fall into the ocean below.
Sneasel aimed to land in the water. He angled just correctly, to land just in time. When he landed, salt water poured into his eyes. As soon as he rubbed them, he felt another wet substance: Tears. He knew his mom was gone. That orb contained her, and he had failed to obtain it.
Knowing he needed a new home, Sneasel snuck onto the boat by climbing the side. He hitched a ride to somewhere, knowing his two new life goals: To find his mother, and disband this so-called Team Rocket.
PART TWO
Sneasel had snuck on the ship until he could see a small, unnoticable island in the distance. He jumped off and swam to the shore. When he got there, he noticed several wild Pokemon. Sneasel decided that if he were going to take down Team Rocket, he needed to have a hideout.
ONE YEAR LATER...
Sneasel had built a hut out of leaves and stayed there, almost never getting to sleep, always imagining the thought of his mother's sphere prison falling into the ocean depths. It is the image that will always haunt him.
When Sneasel heard a rustling outside the hut, he ran outside to see an awkward sight...
It was a Houndoom fighting off a Medicham. A baby Tyrogue was hiding behind a fallen log, crying awfully as he watched his mother get mauled. Houndoom shot flames and bit the Medicham, dragging it off into the night...
The Houndoom hadn't noticed Sneasel or the Tyrogue. Sneasel waited until Tyrogue fell asleep and them picked him up and put him in his hammock some Spinaraks gave him a while back for saving them.
In the morning, Tyrogue said the Houndoom belonged to Team Rocket, who were searching for rare Pokemon.
"Team.. Rocket.." Sneasel said, beginning to cry.
"What's wrong?" Tyrogue asked.
Sneasel told the whole story. Being kidnapped by Andy, him trying to save his mother, and him vowing to take down Team Rocket. Sneasel mentioned that Tyrogue was not alone.
"We... should go take them out." said Tyrogue.
"Look, kid, I've been hunting them down for a year. What makes you think we can find them immediately?"
Tyrogue held up a note. Sneasel was able to read it. It was a message to a Grunt to let him know that they were meeting at Hirimandini Island. Sneasel was able to realize they meant the island about a league away.
"Well kid, I guess it's worth a shot. We won't accomplish much, but lets give this a shot."
Thats when the ground shook below them.
The duo ran outside and were relieved when they saw that what was making the ground quake was the migration of Wailords and Whiscashs.
"I think we just found our ride to Hirimandini." Said Sneasel, grabbing Tyrogue and leaping onto the back of a Wailord.But they weren't the only one's on. Standing there in a masquerade mask and black cowboy hat with cloak, he looked like a crow like pokemon. Sneasel and Tyrouge regarded him cautiously. He laughed. "I'm no danger to you, just wanted a free ride. I assume the same as you." he said. Sneasel scanned him. Judging by his appearence, he looked to be a Cubone, although instead of a bone, It was a dark slick piece of of petrified metal. The mysterious figure looked up. "Call me Cross." he said, and looked away.
