chimchar, the kyogre in the second lvl of crucelean gym is probably the only non-generation one pokemon Sam will make. every other pokemon is from and only from generation 1. so i think you should take down magby and elekid

I picked Dratini, because Dragonite is a beast. But I also like Eevee for the variety of evolutions.

Scyther would be useful for false swipe, but I don't think anything else. And I like Onix...but Golem is too beast atm.
