SPOILER ALERT!Its in fact, pretty easy just, ALWAYS try to get 6 geodudes, and fill all the spots, you need to be fast, if you do it right, always having 6 geodudes covering spots on the map, you will do fine, until the last wave eventually you will see some charmanders, CAPTURE THEM remember that after 2 waves of ONIX, the charmanders will come they will level up DO NOT LET THEM EVOLVEif they dont evovle, they will learn FIRE FANGand they will defeat the vileplumes also, if you dont manage to defeat you can try to catch the golems, they are CATCHABLES ¬¬

you might want to add that the golems have green health and are catchable and they help a lot

i was on wave 19 with all rare candies and it froze - now i have refreshed i cant seem to win with two golems and three chamanders with fire fang - wtf
EDIT: i tried it about 5 more time and it finally worked
little hint, althought you'll want charmanders as your first defence for the glooms so they can level and learn fire fang, afterwards for the vileplumes it is best to have the golems in front and the chacharmanders closer the rare candies.
the golems whittle down the health and the faster attack of charmander is better for finishing them off

My method was to: In the beginning catch three geodude and have two out at the front and keep capturing them and then replacing the ones that died very time with a new one, i then capped both the golems and it got slightly easier. After that I capped all three charmanders (you cant do it with less) and wait for them to level - don't evlove like said above and once they all had fire fang I was set. I also kept one geodude just in case.

@^ You can obtain fire fang on charmander then evolve it so it gets better stats.

@^ Yeah I didn't write it down by accident but thats what i did do.
EDIT: I felt it necessary to say what I did as theres no way i could get all six spaces filled up alll the time with geodude. I was either being really slow and thick, or it was because I was using a track pad.

Those Golems are lifesavers for those with trackpads. I could only get 3 geodudes up there, but since getting at least one Golem is easy, it's not that difficult. Just make sure it's in the middle or else he'll kill the charmanders (happened to me the first time, and I had to restart)
Also, once you've caught the charmanders, make sure you're well-stocked with geodudes. They make a great final resort. Make sure you scroll down to the very bottom if you're missing some - the screen go does longer than what you'd think and there's usually one there.
Apart from that Chuck's pretty much hit the nail on the head, yeah.

I actually kept one Charmander from evolving until it learned flame burst, and that was really helpful since it did just as much damage as fire fang and hit multiple Glooms. I bet I could have done it with the other one too and I would have been able to beat it. (I only caught two Charmanders because I'd accidentally captured too many Geodudes before they came along.) I'm sure it could work either way, but that's just an alternate way to beat it if you wanted to try something different.

When i leveled my charmander then levelled it again it jumped from level 27 to 33 then my game crashed -.- so my advice is to only level it once or twice to avoid this happening
i had to complete it 3 times

Well, when I first tried my idea without coming here first, I caught 3 or 4 Geodudes, cleared the Zubat, Grabbed an extra 2 or 3 Geos to get the Golems, and got the Charmanders. My only problem was I let them evolve before they learned Fire Fang, So I only had Charmeleons with Scratch. XP So after I let them learn Fire Fang, I put two Chars in the front with Fire Fang, the Golems in the middle, and an unleveled Char next to the Candies. I really urge not to try this one, as I only had a few Candies left on the board. As of this post, I really think it helps! ^_^
